DDIA’s Latinos, Media, and Democracy Program (LMDP) 2026 - The AI Edition is an 8-week capacity-building program designed to support Latino journalists, content creators, media professionals, and civil society leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to understand information ecosystem trends, responsibly use AI, and strengthen engagement with Latino communities in the United States.

DDIA's Latinos, Media, and Democracy Program (LMDP), is an 8-week series of workshops designed to support Latino journalists, content producers, and media professionals with the tools and knowledge they need to understand, cover, and counter disinformation in Latino communities in the United States.

The core goal of the LMDP program in 2022 was to strengthen the pipeline of credible Latino researchers and counter-disinformation experts by providing early-career professionals with the skills, tools, and networks needed to work across research, digital, policy, media, and communications roles.
