WHN Miami 2025: Women Advancing and Shaping Latin America's Policy Future
The 10th Annual AS/COA Women's Hemispheric Network Conference in Miami gathered women leaders who work to craft better laws and regulation to talk about their industries and careers. DDIA Executive Director Roberta Braga joined Jennifer Prescott, Director, International Trade & Tax, LatAm Public Policy, Amazon Web Services (AWS); Sally Ng, SVP, Head of Business and Legal Affairs, Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal International Networks; and Ariel Diaz, Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, FedEx Latin America and Caribbean Division, for a conversation on policy futures and career opportunities in public policy.
“My biggest piece of advice is to just do things scared and to just make a decision and go," said Roberta Braga of the Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas. Braga and the panel spoke about their experiences working with governments around public policy issues and how bold action and fearlessness helped them succeed.
