The Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas (DDIA) today announces The Periodistas Edition of the Latinos, Media and Democracy Program (LMDP), an 8-week series of exclusive workshops designed to support journalists, media professionals and  content producers with the tools and knowledge they need to understand, cover, and counter disinformation in Latino communities in the United States leading up to the 2024 elections.

Today, the Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas (DDIA) was founded as an organization operated by and for U.S. Latinos and Latin Americans to be a hub for research and interventions geared at strengthening trust and connection between Latino communities, media, and democracy in the Americas.
